My husband and I were living in New York and looking for a home in Florida. We were very nervous because we needed to put an offer on a house, without actually seeing it in person. We found a home that we were interested in and called the number attached to the listing. The realtor that we spoke with was Corey Ward. The listing was not Corey’s, but I believe that the stars were aligned…because Corey was so extremely helpful. Our first call to Corey lasted 45 minutes. When we hung up the phone, we were so excited and knew that Corey was the person who was going to work hard to find us our Florida home. The initial house in which we were interested was no longer available, but lucky for us Corey was always several steps ahead finding us homes tailored to our specifics needs. Corey not only found us good listings, but also physically went to look at the properties. When we did find a house that we were interested in, Corey went out to the house and took numerous pictures and also created a computer generated floor plan, so that we could see as many details as possible of the house that we ended up buying. The home that we purchased was an auction sale and there were many hurdles that Corey had to jump over to ensure that we got the house. The purchase transaction was extremely complex which included dealing with an overseas company in the Philippines, as well as here in the United States. The time difference was a barrier that Corey did not let get in the way. There were times when Corey was on the phone talking with the seller’s representatives as late as 1:00am. Corey also was available for us anytime of the day or night. The correspondence we had with Corey could have overwhelmed the most patient of people, but not Corey. The phone calls, emails and texts were always prompt, pleasant and helpful. I honestly do not think I have all the words to express how wonderful it was working with Corey and how at ease he made us feel with buying a home sight unseen. Additionally, Corey went above and beyond by supplying us with lists of reputable home inspectors, insurance companies, and utility companies as well as seeking out the information regarding the HOA to make sure that there were not any pending special assessments or back payments due. We believe that Corey Ward is an outstanding realtor and recommend him wholeheartedly. Thank you
